Summary
Of the twelve magnificent Tall Ships to join us at the festival this year, the Denis Sullivan is the pride and joy of Wisconsin. Traveling from it’s homeport in Milwaukee, Wisconsin this schooner acts as the ambassador of Wisconsin. The Denis Sullivan is committed rekindling our bond of history, cultural, and environment with one of our most precious resources, the Great Lakes. During the winter months you can find her catching some sun in Florida, the Bahamas or the Caribbean. On her working months here in Wisconsin, she offers three hour LakeWatch Expeditions and Dockside Discovery programs for students 5th-12th grade. High school and college students also have the opportunity to participate in programs lasting five to fourteen days that sail in the Great Lakes, the Bahamas and Caribbean.
