Sailing Opportunity
Interested in sailing on the Roseway, click here for more information!
Summary
The Roseway is home to the World Ocean School which provides teenage students a hands-on application of their studies while providing discipline, teamwork, community service, environmental responsibility and cross-cultural friendships. Before becoming a float classroom, the Roseway was the last pilot schooner in the United States in 1973. In 2002 the schooner was donated to the World Ocean School where the school is able to take on and teach students important life lessons and make practical what they have already learned. Today she is one of the last Grand Banks schooners and a registered U.S. National Historic landmark. Stop by and visit a little piece of history this year.
